My name is Marilyn Monroy, and I am honored to represent Venezuela in this prestigious event.
I hold a degree in Systems Engineering and am currently pursuing studies in Nutrition—a field that deeply reflects my passion for promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
I dedicate my free time to fitness, reading about personal development, and experimenting with healthy recipes. Classical music helps me stay grounded, hiking reconnects me with nature, and spending time with my friends nourishes my soul.
My life is a constant journey of evolution—driven by the pursuit of balance between inner growth and ambition. I am ready to leave a mark, turning dreams into reality through determination and heart. As Walt Disney once said: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” I embrace this path with strength and belief in myself, convinced that anything is possible when driven by passion and authenticity.
1. How did you start your career in the world of fashion and modeling?
Fashion has fascinated me since childhood, even though I didn’t initially have access to the industry. When the opportunity arose, I chose to embrace it fully. I believe that what truly matters is not how an opportunity presents itself, but the attitude and courage with which we act. When you believe in yourself, others begin to believe in you as well—and that’s when the doors open.
2. What are the main qualities that a model should have to be successful in the industry? Self-confidence is essential—it’s the energy that transcends any runway or photo. But discipline, resilience, and adaptability are also key. A successful model is someone who remains professional, committed, and open to constant learning. Positivity helps navigate challenges, while humility and respect within the team are crucial for long-term success.
3. What are the biggest challenges you have faced in your career, and how did you overcome them?
One of my biggest challenges has been embracing constructive criticism. Learning to welcome it has helped me grow not only as a professional but also as a person. I’ve developed the mindset to view every challenge as an opportunity for improvement. Passion, perseverance, and a never-give-up attitude have been my greatest allies.
4. How do you prepare for a photoshoot or a fashion show? Do you follow a special routine?
My preparation begins both physically and mentally. I prioritize rest, eat nutritious and energizing meals, and listen to uplifting music to stay in a positive mindset. I always align with the creative team to understand the vision and flow naturally into the experience, trusting that my essence will emerge authentically.

5. What kind of look do you prefer to create for yourself? How do you choose your outfits and makeup?
I aim to create looks that reflect my identity—modern yet harmonious, elegant yet authentic. What matters to me is wearing each outfit with confidence, allowing it to enhance my features and empower my presence.
As for makeup, I prefer a fresh and radiant look that highlights my natural beauty, adapting to the occasion while remaining true to who I am. I believe personal style should always express inner energy and intention.
6. What advice would you give to young people who aspire to become models?
Cultivate your confidence and stay true to yourself. Modeling is not only about image—it’s about presence, energy, and character. Take care of your physical and emotional well-being, and don’t be afraid to be different.
Perseverance is everything. As Winston Churchill said: “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” Keep growing, keep dreaming, and above all, keep believing in your worth.
7. What inspires you when working on new fashion projects?
What inspires me most is the ability to tell a story through each garment and every step on the runway. The creativity of the teams I work with fuels me, and every project becomes an opportunity to reinvent myself.
As Tony Robbins said: “The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment.” Each project is a canvas to express deeper layers of who I am and what I stand for.
8. In the context of Miss Woman 2025 in Tenerife, what does participating in an international beauty pageant mean to you?
It’s more than a competition—it’s a platform that honors the true essence of femininity: strength, intelligence, authenticity, and inspiration.
I see it as a chance to represent women who fight for their dreams, regardless of the obstacles they face. My goal isn’t just to compete, but to inspire—to show that passion and confidence can move mountains.
9. How do you think your experience at Miss Woman 2025 will help you grow professionally as a model?
Miss Woman 2025 will mark a pivotal moment in my career. It’s a space for growth, connection, and learning. I’m certain that this journey will refine not just my professional image, but also my confidence and purpose.
As Maya Angelou beautifully said: “Success is not what you do, but what you inspire others to do.” I aspire to become a voice of encouragement for women navigating similar paths.
10. What characteristics do you value in a pageant like Miss Woman 2025? What distinguishes you and makes you unique for this kind of event? I value platforms that celebrate beauty beyond aesthetics—highlighting emotional intelligence, strength, and authenticity.
What sets me apart is my deep passion and genuine ability to connect with others from the heart. I see myself not just as a model, but as a story of resilience. As Oprah Winfrey once said: “Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” That is the light I bring into every space I enter.
11. What is the message you hope to convey through your participation in Miss Woman 2025? My message is one of empowerment, love, and resilience. Every woman carries a unique light, and when she chooses to believe in herself, she becomes unstoppable.
I want to remind women that they are worthy of everything they dream of—and more. As Nelson Mandela said: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
We are strong, courageous, and capable of transforming adversity into purpose. I am here to celebrate that power—and to remind every woman that her voice matters, her dreams are valid, and her light is needed in the world. Together, we rise—and together, we shine.
