Hi! I am Jeslyn Santos, a Filipina international beauty queen, professional model, and business owner. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, majoring in Broadcasting, from Bulacan State University, one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines. I made history as the first Filipina and Asian to win Miss United Continents in 2016, proudly showcasing my grace and cultural heritage on the international stage.

In addition to my achievements in pageantry, I am a former varsity volleyball player, having competed at the national level from grade school through college. My competitive spirit and discipline, honed through sports, have significantly shaped my journey in both athletics and the world of beauty pageants. My modeling career began with a deep passion for fashion and photography. I initially took on local modeling assignments before being signed by an agency that recognized my potential. I firmly believe that confidence, professionalism, adaptability, and a strong work ethic are essential to succeeding in this industry, along with the resilience to handle rejection. Facing challenges along the way, I remained focused on self-improvement, maintaining a positive outlook, and drawing strength from the unwavering support of my loved ones.

How do you prepare for a photo shoot or a fashion show? Is there a special routine that you follow?

To ensure peak performance for a photo shoot or fashion show, I prioritize proper rest, hydration, and a consistent skincare routine. Light stretching helps me stay physically prepared, while listening to music allows me to relax and build confidence before stepping in front of the camera or onto the runway. My personal style is best described as effortlessly chic—I favor simple yet bold outfits complemented by natural, glowing makeup, always prioritizing comfort while maintaining elegance.

As a professional model, what advice would you give to young people who aspire to pursue this career?

To aspiring models, my advice is to embrace your individuality, remain patient, be persistent, and always maintain a positive attitude. The modeling industry can be challenging, but staying true to oneself and continuously working on personal growth will open doors to opportunities. I draw inspiration from travel, art, music, and the incredible people I meet, and I deeply value projects that allow for creative expression.
