My name is Melanie Denise Hansen, I am 21 years old and from Denmark. I work for Astralis in their internet café in Copenhagen and dedicate my free time to creative pursuits, including UGC (user-generated content), which is one of my passions. Growing up in a family with foster children taught me empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of others’ struggles. However, my childhood wasn’t without challenges. Bullying impacted both my little brother and me, leaving me shy and introverted as a child. Today, I am a strong, outgoing, and confident woman. My dream is to help and inspire others, particularly those who have experienced bullying or struggle with low self-esteem, to believe in themselves and embrace their potential. Through Miss Woman, I hope to amplify my voice to advocate for these causes, inspire positive change, and challenge myself in the process. To me, a true global icon is someone who uplifts others and uses their platform selflessly to make a difference.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE VALUES THAT DISTINGUISH YOU? In Denmark, I grew up in a family with foster children. This has taught me an incredible amount, given me a lot of life experience, and made me gain a great understanding and insight into other people who are having a hard time. Since I was a child, I have learned that you should help others. I grew up with a lot of bullying, which affected both my little brother and me. When I was younger, I was very shy and introverted because of the bullying.

WHY ARE YOU PARTICIPATING IN MISS WOMAN? WHAT DO YOU WISH FOR YOURSELF? Today, I am a completely different woman; I am strong, very outgoing, and social. My dream is to be able to help and inspire other people who are exposed to bullying. Through Miss Woman, I hope to gain a bigger voice
