Alina Mandrikina – Representing Crete, Greece at Miss Woman International 2025 World Final

My name is Alina Mandrikina, and I proudly represent the island of Crete, Greece. I work in the logistics sector, and in my free time I enjoy going to the gym, reading books, and traveling—activities that enrich my life and feed my curiosity.

My dream is to become an actress and work in film. I also aspire to be a photo model and to participate in a wide variety of cultural and fashion festivals. I have a strong passion for fashion and beauty, and I’m eager to explore this world more deeply.

1. How did you start your career in the world of fashion and modeling?

At the moment, I do not have professional experience in the fashion and modeling industry, but I would truly love to begin this journey. I have a strong desire to try both modeling and photo modeling, and I am enthusiastic about any opportunity to grow in this field.

2. What are the main qualities that you think a model should have to be successful in the industry?

In my opinion, a successful model should love herself and fully accept her appearance. It’s important to express one’s individuality, have strong self-esteem, and bring energy and vitality to everything she does.

3. What are the biggest challenges you have had to face in your career and how did you overcome them?

Although I haven’t yet had experience in modeling, I have faced challenges in other areas of work. I’ve held jobs that I didn’t enjoy, and things didn’t always go well. These experiences helped me realize how important it is to not waste time doing something that doesn’t bring joy or fulfillment. That awareness pushed me to focus on the things I truly love.

4. How do you prepare for a photo shoot or a fashion show? Is there a special routine that you follow?

Although I’ve never participated in a fashion show, I would be very interested in trying it. I have done several photo shoots, and when preparing for one, I always make sure that I am well-groomed and that the shoot is handled by a professional photographer. A polished appearance and good collaboration are essential for me.

5. What kind of look do you prefer to create for yourself? How do you choose your outfits and makeup?

I really enjoy elegant and feminine styles, particularly evening dresses. My makeup preference leans toward classic evening looks. That said, the style I choose always depends on my mood and the occasion—I love expressing myself through my look.

6. As a professional model, what advice would you give to young people who aspire to pursue this career?

I would encourage young people to work on themselves, to believe in their own abilities, and to avoid self-doubt. Most importantly, I think it’s vital to maintain energy and a positive attitude, which can be truly transformative.

7. What inspires you when you work on new projects in the fashion world?

I find inspiration in the ever-changing nature of fashion. Trends are constantly evolving, and I enjoy keeping up with them. Today, we have access to so many influencers and stylists who share valuable insights, making it easier than ever to stay informed and inspired.

8. In the context of Miss Woman 2025 in Tenerife, what does it mean to you to participate in an international beauty pageant?

Participating in Miss Woman 2025 is a very meaningful milestone in my life. I am truly grateful to the organizers for giving me this opportunity and for seeing potential in me. Being noticed and invited to this competition means a lot. This experience gives me the chance to grow, learn, and even dream of someday being on the jury panel. Reaching the final and possibly winning would be a dream come true.

I believe that taking part in the Miss Woman 2025 beauty contest will offer me significant professional exposure. It could help me attract the attention of modeling agencies and create opportunities for collaborations with major international brands.

10. What characteristics do you look for in a pageant like Miss Woman 2025? What is it that distinguishes you and makes you unique for this type of event?

I value transparency, kindness, and good communication within the competition. I appreciate when contestants are kept well-informed about the process. What sets me apart is my love for the stage and public speaking. I feel confident in front of an audience and enjoy sharing positive energy with others. My openness and comfort with people are part of what makes me unique.
