I am Laura Baranauskyte, most people know me as Laura Grr. I am a freelance model and certified beautician, my dream would be acting in movies, so that is a goal that I will seek. I am passionate about art, specifically detail and imagination on a canvas - this to me brings joyful emotions. I also love animals, they can't speak, but their playful actions show their big hearts.

1. How did you start your career in the world of fashion and modeling?

I began modeling in the most unexpected yet beautiful way—by helping my best friend complete her photography portfolio. We took countless photos together, which caught the attention of other photographers and models. Later, I met another friend who worked with macrame and handcrafted fashion under the name Macradam. Our creative connection gave birth not only to strong friendships, but also to wonderful opportunities: we shot clips together, had our posters displayed in galleries, and even saw our work featured in flyers and newspapers. It was a memorable journey—one I will cherish forever.

2. What are the main qualities that you think a model should have to be successful in the industry?

To succeed in this industry, you must be brave and fully commit. Give 100% to every opportunity, no matter how new, different, or even bizarre it may seem. Be curious—prepare, explore, and create fearlessly. Success comes from stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing every challenge as a chance to grow.

3. What are the biggest challenges you have had to face in your career and how did you overcome them?

One of my biggest challenges was stepping out of my shell. I used to be incredibly shy and sensitive, but through continuous effort—and with the invaluable support of my family and friends—I transformed into someone confident and fearless. My character was shaped by pushing beyond fear and embracing the unknown. Today, I’m proud of the strong, self-assured woman I’ve become.

4. How do you prepare for a photo shoot or a fashion show? Is there a special routine that you follow?

Preparation is essential to me. Once I align with the photographer on the project, we spend up to two weeks or even a month discussing the concept, style, outfits, poses, and makeup. We work as a team to ensure every detail is clear. I always bring a Plan B—alternative outfits and quick style changes—because being prepared enhances creativity and guarantees better results.

5. What kind of look do you prefer to create for yourself? How do you choose your outfits and makeup?

My go-to aesthetic is a “baddie” or cool girl vibe. I love looks that are bold, fun, and full of character. I draw inspiration from various platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, Google, celebrities, and artists. I piece together elements from all these sources and blend them with my own creativity to craft looks that are fresh, fitting, and authentically me.

6. As a professional model, what advice would you give to young people who aspire to pursue this career?

My advice to aspiring models is simple: express yourself without fear. Show the world who you are, believe in your uniqueness, and never give up on your dreams. Surround yourself with people who uplift and believe in you. Remember, once you take the first step, you’re already halfway into the life you’ve always dreamed of.

7. What inspires you when you work on new projects in the fashion world?

I get genuinely excited whenever a new fashion project comes my way. Each opportunity offers something new—be it incredible friendships, exciting locations, or creative challenges. These experiences inspire me and keep the fire of curiosity and passion alive.

8. In the context of Miss Woman 2025 in Tenerife, what does it mean to you to participate in an international beauty pageant?

Participating in Miss Woman 2025 is one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Looking back at how much I’ve grown—from the shy girl I used to be to the confident woman I am now—it feels surreal. Meeting inspiring women from all over the world and working together as a team, like a family, is deeply emotional. It’s a privilege and an honor to be part of this life-changing event.

9. How do you think your experience at Miss Woman 2025 will help you grow professionally as a model?

I believe this experience will strengthen my self-confidence and allow others to see the personal and professional evolution I’ve undergone. Miss Woman 2025 will not only help me grow as a model but will also shape the woman I continue to become—resilient, empowered, and full of purpose.

10. What characteristics do you look for in a pageant like Miss Woman 2025? What is it that distinguishes you and makes you unique for this type of event?

What I admire most in a pageant like Miss Woman 2025 is the focus on grace, diplomacy, kindness, generosity, and eloquence—true qualities of beauty. I know I’m still evolving, but I’m ready to present the best version of myself and prove that transformation is possible. I want to inspire others to believe that they, too, can shine.

11. What is the message you hope to convey to the public through your participation in the Miss Woman 2025 pageant in Tenerife?

The message I want to share is one of courage and liberation. For a long time, I believed that staying quiet and shy was a form of protection—but my greatest achievement was stepping out of that safe space. I’ve learned that life is meant to be lived boldly. One of my most unforgettable memories was jumping out of a plane with a parachute—something the old me would have never done. I want people to know that they, too, can overcome fear and discover the thrill of truly living.
